TAU GAMMA PHI BASKETBALL LEAGUE,

THIS IS A FUNDRAISING EVENT OF TGFS-CENTOBA COUNCIL.

TEAM REGISTRATION FEE IS $550

* FIBA rules applied
* Players has to attend 2 game appearance.. to qualify and player can play to playoffs games.
* One time-out each half. One minute stop time. Time outs on dead ball only (while referee handles the ball). Must be called from the score table.
* No carry-over of time outs.
* Five minutes grace period from the schedule game time.
* Must have 5 players to start the game.
* Two 20 minutes halves running time, stop time in the last five minutes of the second half.
***JERSEYS ARE NOT REQUIRED BUT WE HIGHLY ENCOURAGE TEAMS TO HAVE THEIR OWN JERSEYS TO AVOID CONFUSION DURING THE GAMES ESPECIALLY OFFICIATING.

TIME OUTS:
1. Each team is allowed one (1) time out in the first and one (1) in the second half.
2. Unused time out in the first half cannot be carried over to the second half.
3. Only the coach can call a timeout from the scorers table, on dead ball.
OVERTIME:
A. When scores of both teams are tied at the end of the regular time, a two (2) minute stop time and go overtime period will be in effect with each team allowed one (1) time out. No carry over of timeout from regulation.
B. The second succeeding overtime will be one (1) minute stop and go with NO TIMEOUT allowed.

BONUS RULE:
1. Two (2) free throws or bonus throw will be awarded starting on the 7th team foul per half. No more single bonus.
DEFAULTS:
1. Games are to start promptly at a designated time shown on the schedule.
2. Five (5) minutes grace period will be allowed for the scheduled time of game.
3. Less than five (5) players are not allowed.
TEAM STANDING:
1. In case of a tie, win over the other will prevail.
2. In case of a triple tie, the one with the highest points spread of the three teams will prevail.
